Abdullah Gül Condemns the Terrorist Attack in Paris

I condemn the brutal terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris in the strongest possible terms.

I express my condolences and share the sorrow of the families of the victims and the people of France at this difficult time.

It is clear that this kind of a violence is totally immoral and against the fundamental precepts of any religion, and indeed of Islam.

The perpetrators of this barbaric act not only betrayed and tainted the Islamic values and principles but also targeted millions of European Muslims who have nowhere else to live other than Europe.

Therefore, the Islamic world and all the Muslims should clearly denounce this inhuman attack and demonstrate solidarity with French people against religious extremism.
