The President evinced his pleasure at hosting his Malaysian guests in Ankara on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Declaring Malaysia to be a shining star of Southeast Asia, President Gül underscored the importance of the fact that Turkish-Malaysian bilateral relations have been raised to the level of strategic partnership, which he predicted will contribute to the existing cooperation that the two countries enjoy.
The President further reiterated Turkey’s heartfelt sadness about the fact that a Malaysian Airlines plane was lost on March 8, 2014 and noted that Turkey sincerely shares the grief of its Malaysian brothers and sisters.
PM RAZAK POINTS TO CLOSE TURKISH-MALAYSIAN RELATIONS
As for PM Razak, he accentuated that Turkey and Malaysia enjoy close relations in the political area and pointed to the huge potential to be seized economically. He further reiterated that they should boost the mutual investments and said that he would be pleased with deepening the existing cooperation between the two countries.
