President Berzins of Latvia at the Çankaya Presidential Palace

President Andris Berzins of Latvia is paying a state visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gül.

President Berzins, upon his arrival at the Presidential campus, was accompanied by the Mounted Troops.

After the official welcoming ceremony, the two leaders had a tete-a-tete and chaired the talks between their delegations.

The Latvian President’s visit is a return visit to Turkey for that which President Gül paid to Latvia on April 1-3, 2013.
