11th President Abdullah Gül Denounces Israeli Intrusion into Al Aqsa Mosque

I am following the tragedy unfolding at Al Aqsa Mosque with deep concern. In a region already in flames at all corners, Israel’s irrational intrusion in Al Aqsa after 47 years is the last straw. Aiming at Al Aqsa Mosque and insulting sentiments of Muslims around the World would add fuel to the fire in the region. These irrational, dangerous and provocative actions of Israel should be immediately stopped. The only way to stop them is dedicated global action of the international community. It is obvious that there will be no peace in the World unless there is a just peace in Palestine. My prayers are with our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
